Last week we had the opportunity to participate in the Symposium of the Polish Zinc Society where our President, Maciej Lachowicz, PhD, was one of the speakers and together with Jacek Sipa, PhD, delivered an invited lecture entitled “Let’s hurry up to love bathtubs….”

The first part of the lecture concerned the material causes of damage to galvanizing baths and the second part of the lecture concerned the conditions of heating the baths.

There was of course a comparison of the effects of microstructure and material delivery status on the operation and durability of the baths – something we know best at Machinefish.
